The shop is located at 72 Joo Chiat Place. Spent at least 15 minutes walking from I12 Katong. There was only 3 customers at the time that I visited (at 6.30pm). And the coffee shop has no other stalls but just Fei Fei Wanton Mee, and it operates 24 hours daily.
Ordered just 2 bowls of their wanton mee ($4.00 for wanton mee) to try. Didn't have to wait too long for the food to be served to us. And as can see from the picture, it looks pretty plain and simple.
The ingredients were lying under the noodles so you will have to mix everything with the chilli given in the spoon. Tried the first mouth and was quite disappointed. The noodles were so hard, not as soft and springy as what was reviewed. But thank goodness for the chilli. It totally save that bowl of noodles. As I couldn't take too spicy, so the spiciness of the chilli was still at a level that I can handle. And boy, I must say that the chilli was really fragrant.
Another highlight will definitely be the wanton. Even though the size is small, but the meat was so well seasoned. The skin was very thin as well. Thumbs up!
Well, guessed I won't be heading back again any time soon. But if anyone of you would like to give it a try, sure can go for it as the portion is considered reasonable given the price of $4.
